No matter what one says or thinks about Salman Khan, he has always been the good samaritan for so many people. Be it workers in the industry or some actors/actresses in the industry, he has always come to their rescue whenever it was needed. And his excellent work for the society has been witnessed by all of us even before the pandemic hit us.
Bajrangi Bhaijan, his 2015 film, was a massive success on the box office and everyone associated with the production of the film earned excellent profits. The film had made more than 600 crores on the box office. Salman Khan donated his part of earnings from the movie for welfare of the farmers of the country. His donation was reported to have helped the debt-ridden farmers, who are committing suicide every day, in a significant manner and helped them ease their hardships to some extent.
He did not stop there! Marathwada, one of the worst drought-hit regions in Maharashtra, was adopted by Salman Khan's NGO 'Being Human' in 2013. The foundation provides 2500 water tankers with a capacity of 2000 litres each to every drought-affected regions of Marathwada. Apart from that, the NGO had already adopted 200 villages in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra.
In fact, recently Salman Khan was witnessed distributing food grains to villagers who weren't able to get it from somewhere else due to the Covid-19 lockdown in Maharashtra, at his farmhouse at Panvel. Few days back, He even tried to gauge the notion of how hard the farmers of our country work and he spent a day on the farms of his farmhouse at Panvel. He even uploaded a picture of himself, covered in mud, on Instagram and Twitter. The photograph was an instant hit on Instagram and went viral within just an hour since uploading it. This picture was a tribute, a token of appreciation and respect to the farmers who work all the time to feed us, come what may.
